As part of its commitment to the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat‘ initiative, BEL recently entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Electronics. In a related development, the Indian Coast Guard started construction of its first indigenously built Air Cushion Vehicle (hovercraft) in Goa on 30 July 2025, marking another step forward in strengthening India’s naval defence capabilities.
