Suzlon Energy Share Price Soars 13% After Q4 Profit Jumps 365%

Suzlon Energy share price surged by 13.6% to ₹74.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, marking its best session in two years. This significant uptick followed the company’s announcement of a remarkable 365% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 (Q4FY25), reaching ₹1,182 crore, compared to ₹254 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

Strong Financial Performance

Suzlon’s Q4FY25 revenue from operations rose 73% year-on-year to ₹3,773.54 crore, up from ₹2,179.20 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s total income also grew 73% YoY to ₹3,825 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹2,207 crore in Q4 FY24.

For the full fiscal year 2024-25, Suzlon’s net profit soared 213.7% year-on-year to ₹2,071.63 crore, significantly higher than the ₹660 crore recorded in FY24. Revenue from the wind turbine generator segment rose 34.6% year-on-year to ₹3,141.74 crore in Q4 FY25, compared with ₹2,335 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The impressive financial results have garnered positive responses from market analysts. Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal raised its target price for Suzlon to ₹83, maintaining a “buy” rating due to the company’s strong Q4 performance and a bullish outlook for FY26.
