OnePlus is set to expand its popular Nord series with two new smartphones launched in India this week. The OnePlus Nord 5 was released today, followed by the OnePlus Nord CE 5, which is scheduled to launch on July 12, 2025.
OnePlus Nord 5: Premium Features at Mid-Range Price
The OnePlus Nord 5 comes with impressive specifications that promise flagship-level performance. The phone features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and bright 1800 nits peak brightness for clear viewing even in sunlight.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 delivers many of the same software features and connectivity capabilities as its higher-end counterpart, but comes at a much more budget-friendly price. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The CE 5 features a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with OmniVision sensor, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX 480 sensor.
The device packs a powerful 7100mAh battery, backed by 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quick top-ups when needed. Similar to the Nord 5, this device features an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking and an IR blaster to control electronic devices remotely.
